Mmoexp CFB 25 Coins: Understanding RPO Plays

Understanding RPO Plays
RPO Read Plays

RPO Read plays give you several options:

Hand-off to Running Back: If the defense collapses on the quarterback or the defensive end crashes, handing off to the running back can exploit the defensive alignment.
Keep and Run: If the defensive end is committed to the running back, you can keep the ball and run with the quarterback.
Keep and Pass: If the defense spreads out or covers the running back, you can keep the ball and pass to an open receiver.
Example: In the RPO Read Bubble play from the Wake Forest playbook, you might choose to throw a quick pass to a receiver in the flat if the defense commits to the running back, or keep the ball and run if the defense is more focused on the pass.

RPO Glance Plays

RPO Glance plays operate similarly to RPO Read plays but with a traditional pocket setup for passing:

Hand-off to Running Back: As with RPO Read, you can choose to hand off based on the defensive reaction.
Keep and Pass: After deciding to keep the ball, you can pass from a more traditional pocket setup.
Keep and Scramble: You have the option to scramble if the pocket collapses and no immediate passing option is available.
Example: In an RPO Glance play, if you decide not to hand off the ball, you can stay in the pocket or scramble if the defense collapses, offering a more conventional passing experience.
